Welcome to Lakes Area Alano Association (LAAA)

Lakes Area Alano is home to more than 56 regular twelve-step recovery based meetings every week including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA),  Debtors Anonymous (DA), Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA), and Al-Anon.

What is an Alano?

  •  A source of information about the diseases of alcoholism and addiction.
  • A place for twelve-step recovery groups to have meetings on a regular basis.
  • A facility to provide social and recreational activities for recovering addicts/alcoholics and their families in a clean and sober environment.
  • A contact point for individuals seeking assistance in the recovery process.
  • A non-profit corporation owned solely by its members and funded entirely through voluntary dues and contributions.

Mission, Vision, & Values

MISSION 

To provide a safe and sober environment where recovering alcoholics, addicts, and others affected by alcoholism and addiction can attend 12-step programs in the Brainerd Lakes Area. 


VISION 

To offer facilities and resources that give help and hope for those in recovery to achieve lasting positive lifestyle changes one day at a time. 


VALUES 

Welcome and support all who seek help at Lakes Area Alano Association by giving opportunities that enhance sobriety, healing, and lifelong recovery.
