Lakes Area Alano is home to 56+ Twelve Step Recovery groups that serve hundreds of people in recovery every week, meeting them where they are at.
People find comfort in attending Alanon groups to gather resources and support while coping with a loved ones alcoholism, learning to love them without enabling the disease.
There are meetings 24/7/365, including holidays: Breakfast Club, Brown Bagger lunch break, mid day reprieve, after work- Happy Hour, an Evening mediation or book study.

Upper Level- Large meeting room. Comfort room with couches/ recliners.

Upper level- Meditation room
Meets twice weekly to complete a guided meditation session together while acknowledging step 11 as a necessary step in the recovery process.
Step 11 says, "We sought through prayer and mediation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, Praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out."
Main level- 12 step recovery group
A safe place for woman to attend/ discuss sensitive female recovery based issues with other women in recovery, while following the 12 step program.
Exception would be young children attending with female adult supervision.
LAAA is not responsible for the content, materials, or outcomes of each meeting. LAAA board is simply a facility hosting for 12 step recovery groups to hold their meetings.
